When I hit max level I started leveling alts. I had no interest in raiding at all. In 2011 I met this interesting, strange, and funny Death Knight who introduced me to raiding. I fell in love with the Death Knight and raiding, lol. We started guild hopping trying to find a home and a raid team we could call our own, but had no luck. We finally found a Guild we liked on US-Darkspear and were invited to raid with them. They had 3 raid teams and we were part of the third. One day we logged on and found that the guild had tranferred and only invited the other 2 raid teams to join them.

The Story
I started playing WoW right before the launch of Cataclysm after my boomkin mom suggested I pick up a hobby. Once I started playing it was over. I fell in love with the game and the weird sometimes disturbing people in the community.
Being frustrated of being treated this way I decided that I was done guild hopping and searching for something. I was going to build something instead. I then created <Holy Fire> on Darkspear. We built a raid team and we downed bosses, but we were unhappy with the raiding situation on Darkspear. As a guild we decided to transfer to US-Cenarius, a PVE server, hoping the raiding scene would be better and changed the name to <Leap of Faith> because we were all leaping on the new adventure together.
Upon arriving on Cenarius things started looking up. We put together a 10 man raid team and cleared Siege of Orgrimmar. I thought the worst was over and we were on our way. The week after killing Garrosh people started disappearing. I then used openraid.org to post Heroic, now Mythic, raids and the remaining members of the guild progressed this way. We were able to go 14/14 Mythic, although not as a guild group. We are excited to go into WoD with 20 like minded people who want to go kill shit!

Moving Forward in Warlords
So what does Leap of Faith plan to accomplish in Warlord of Draenor? We have been fortunate enough to make some connections with some very skilled players via opneraid.org. We were able to accept many transfers from other realms and have formed a 20 man raid team with our eyes set on Mythic progression. As soon as WoD drops we will be power leveling and gear out for the release of Highmaul on December 2nd. Leap of Faith has a very promising future with the upcoming expansion and look forward to watching the guild grow and thrive.
